Weather and climate play big roles in biomes because they are limiting factors. If the weather is too hot then some organisms cannot reproduce or even live. That is why the destruction of the ozone and greenhouse effect are extremely important because they all contribute to global warming. As the temperatures warm, we will loose zooplankton and phytoplankton that are essential to the aquatic food chain, starting with fish, all the way up to humans.
